Here are a few shots of the February 2014 meeting’s activity:
We also had a couple of show-and-tell items!

Nancy Cloutier’s “Oregon Coast”, using mostly handspun yarns. We were amazed to hear that it was her first tapestry weaving!
Since we were unable to hold the annual December meeting and luncheon, we decided to get together on Saturday, February 15th instead.
The get-together will be hosted by Nancy and Chris Mercer; watch your email for directions to the location. (If you don’t get one, use the Contact Us form here to request the information.)
Our hosts will provide enchiladas, so please bring side dishes or desserts. We will also hold the auction, during which play money will be used to bid on destash items brought by guild members. (This is a really fun way to re-home good stuff!)
Due to the nasty winter weather, please also watch your email or this site for last-minute updates or cancellation notice.
Time: Noon to about 4:00 on Saturday, February 15th.
Bring: Food and something to auction (yarn, fiber, tools, books, or other related goodies)
The meeting begins at 10:00, but come at 9:30 for social time, snacks, and sharing!
The program for the March meeting will be making yarn-wrapped jewelry, based on Robin Spady’s book. Mary Sue will provide materials, but if you have bangle bracelets or large hoop earrings that you’d like to wrap, please bring them! (Findings might come in handy, too…)
Location: McKnight Hall, room 118
Date: Saturday, February 1, 2014
Time: Social at 9:30 a.m., meeting 10:00 – noon
Directions to McKnight Hall: Exit off of Hillside onto Alumni Drive. The McKnight building will be on your right. Enter the north wing (around the curve of the street) through the brown double doors that face Hillside. Parking is available in the lot across the street from the McKnight Building.
