This will be an important business meeting, during which the future of weaving classes in the Wichita area will be discussed and voted on!

Program(s) will follow the business meeting.

For non-spinners, there will be a small loom available for members to try their hand at a 3-shaft weaving project.

Bouclé Spinning

Bring your spinning wheel and any batts or fiber you would like to spin into a loopy bouclé yarn!  Instructor Deb Waggoner will teach the technique of spinning around a core yarn (which will be provided), and will demonstrate making art batts on a drum carder.

If your wheel has a flyer with no hooks and a large orifice, so much the better!

Fiber will be also available for purchase.

Directions: Exit off of Hillside onto Alumni Drive. The McKnight building is the second building on your right. Park in the lot across the street, and enter the north wing through the brown double doors that face Hillside (shown in the center of the picture below). Look for a “Guild” sign on the doors!
