Everyone came away a winner from the recent KAWS (Kansas Alliance of Weavers and Spinners) 2017 conference in Lawrence! There was plenty of good camaraderie, great vendor booths and a wide variety of classes and activities.
Our guild brought home a couple of extra bragging rights… we won the prize for the guild table display, and our representative Gail Kliewer won the spinning-with-a-spindle-wearing-rubber-gloves contest!
Several members went to the Landers farm for the Statewide Dye Day as well, and obviously didn’t spend all their time dyeing.
Enjoy the eye candy!
