Dye a silk scarf in one of several traditional Japanese folding patterns.  After folding and tying, dip dye in washfast permanent dyes to create a unique and beautiful accessory.

As you work on your scarf, you’ll learn about the history of Japanese Shibori techniques.

This project is fun for ages 12 through senior adults, and is a great family activity!

Class will be held on Sunday, July 10, 2022, from 1:30 – 3:30 pm. 

Class fee $35, includes one scarf.  Additional 11″ x 60″ scarves will be available for $10 each.

Register online – $10 due at registration to reserve your place; bring $25 to class (cash & check accepted). 
Masks are optional.

Instructors: Belinda Kidd & Nancy Squire

Instructor will supply scarves, dyes and equipment.  Wear old clothes to this class in case of dye mishaps!

The location for all classes is the Fiber Arts Center of Wichita at 751 George Washington Boulevard.
