Location: McKnight Hall, WSU Campus
Directions: From Hillside, turn into WSU at the entrance where the Football Memorial stands. Parking lots are on the left, McKnight Hall on right. Look for the McKinley Hall sign, then take the sidewalk between the two buildings and turn right to enter McKnight through glass double doors a few steps down from the sidewalk level. The room is located on the right, at the end of the first hallway.
January 2010 program
The January 9th meeting was a busy and productive one, and featured a fascinating joint program.
Mary Sue Foster showed pictures and woven samples as she described the layered weaving workshop she attended at AVL Looms in Chico, CA a few months ago.
Kyle Leandra Kolkovich also shared a PowerPoint presentation, with pictures and videos from her tour of the Valdese Weavers mill in High Point, North Carolina. She then talked about the various woven samples in her professional portfolio, passing them around for members to see close-up.
