Art Yarn Refresher

Learn about and practice core spinning techniques to make art yarn – thick and thin, loopy or bumpy, maybe with some added “things.”  Bring a spinning wheel if you have one, or bring another project you’re working on and stay to watch and commune.

Denise Renee will bring her Schacht Wheels for people to test drive them! She will talk about the benefits of each wheel and how spinning wheels work in general (adjustments and mechanics). She will be offering discounts on Schacht Wheels and other Schacht equipment.  If you have ever wondered about Schact products, you can have your questions answered here!

Directions: Exit off of Hillside onto Alumni Drive. The McKnight building is the second building on your right. Park in the lot across the street, and enter the north wing through the brown double doors that face Hillside (shown in the center of the picture below). Look for a “Guild” sign on the doors!
