Learn how to spin gorgeous art yarns using dyed or natural colored locks. Cut ends of shiny longwool locks are captured in the yarn, leaving the curly length of the locks dangling like luscious fringe or loosely curled and wrapped for lovely texture.
These art yarns are beautiful used as accents in weaving or knitting, looped and worn as a cowl, or simply admired!
Bring your own locks (maybe the ones dyed in the October 15 class!), or bring extra money to purchase dyed locks at the class.
Note that this is NOT a learn-to-spin class. Participants need to be able to spin a fairly consistent yarn and join a new fiber supply, and must bring their own spinning wheel.
Class will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2022, 1 – 3 pm.
Masks are optional.
Instructor: Paula Smith
Class fee $50. Register online and submit $10 via PayPal to reserve your spot. Bring the remaining $40 (cash and checks accepted) to class.
