Do you wish you could knit but don’t know how to get started? We’re here to help!

In this 4-hour workshop, you will learn the basics of knitting including casting on, the knit and purl stitch and how to finish your projects. We’ll also go over common beginner mistakes and how to fix (or prevent) them.

We will knit a series of blocks practicing these skills and then learn to sew the blocks together to join into a larger project like a scarf or blanket.

Class will be held on Saturday, March 9th, 2024 from 12:30-4:30pm.

Instructor: Jenny Durham

Class fee $60.  Register online and submit $20 via PayPal to reserve your spot. Bring the remaining $40 (PayPal, check or exact cash) to class.

  • 1 skein or ball of worsted weight/#4 (non-textured) yarn. Please choose a yarn in a solid color in a lighter shade.
