Support the Guild in two ways – and come away with a new towel! We all treasure these beautiful, functional handwoven towels, and you can increase your own stash while benefiting the Guild at the same time.
Weave a towel for yourself, then donate your skills and weave a second towel to give as a fundraiser for the Guild. Donated towels will be sold during our Black Friday event in November.
The Guild’s Baby Wolf loom is warped in a simple 1, 2, 3, 4 twill with a medium blue cotton yarn, ready for your design. Choose weft yarns from the Guild’s supply at no additional charge, or bring your own weft for the 30″ (ish) long towels.
The $25 fee includes warp and use of the loom during weaving class times (Mondays 1:00 – 3:00 and 6:30 – 8:30, Tuesdays 1:00 – 3:00, Thursdays 6:30 – 8:30).
This activity is for weavers who are comfortable working on their own – it is not an instructional class.
Participating weavers will pick a week in the form below (first & second choice) during which they will weave the two towels. Date confirmation will be sent ASAP.
Weaving must be finished by the end of the week, so the next person can take their turn!
