This class is a two-session introduction to some basic concepts of book binding.

We will cover three book structures for beginners: Japanese Stab Binding (pictured), pamphlet binding, and basic book block sewing. Participants will create paper case bindings for the pamphlet and book block sewing.

Basic hand sewing skills are nice to have, but not a requirement for this class.
