Are you looking for a quick, easy and affordable way to add unique flair to your denim clothing? In this class, you’ll learn some basic embroidery stitches that you can use to add all kinds of personal touches to your wardrobe!

This course will teach you everything you need to know to get started hand stitching on clothing, including what tools are required, how to transfer a design onto fabric, how to hand embroider on different kinds of fabric, a few basic stitches that you can use for numerous embroidery designs, and a few tips and tricks for success.

You will get a chance to practice by personalizing your own denim garments with either a design of your own, or you can choose from some sample embroidery designs provided by the instructor. Although the focus of this class is on hand embroidery on denim, these skills can be used for stitching on other kinds of woven fabrics.

Learners are encouraged to bring their own denim garments to stitch on, but it is not required; there will be denim patches available for those who want to create their own personalized patch!

Basic embroidery experience is helpful but not required; recommended for ages 16 and over.

Class will be held on Saturday, September 30, 2023, 10:00 am – noon.
