Sometimes, hand crafted garments or accessories call for one-of-a-kind hand crafted closures! If purchased fasteners don’t quite do it, consider making a frog. Frog closures have a very long history, from traditional Asian clothing to Jane Austen-era military styled fashions and beyond.

Learn the basics of making several types of loop closures, and find out how to turn your own ideas into functional or decorative accents for your handwoven, hand sewn, hand knit or crocheted creations.
