This course is an introduction to wet felting. Experience the process of wet felting using a form (resist) to wrap the felt around. This class involves using the hands to “rub” and “roll” the wool to form a permanent fabric.
Instructions will include the use of tools for preparing the wool, elementary color theory and design. By the end of this class you will have created a purse of your own design using a resist, and will have the knowledge to use the technique for your own projects!
This class will be followed by a 2 day class for sewing a fabric lining with a zippered pocket taught by Malissa Long Wilson.
