This is a comprehensive 2-day workshop for new and experienced weavers alike! It will benefit any weaver who is looking for tips to make the warping process more efficient.
Class will be held on Saturday, August 4th and Sunday, August 5th, 2018 from 9 am – 4 pm each day (with a one-hour lunch break).
You will come away with useful tips and experience learning how to warp three different types of looms: a small portable floor loom, a large sectional beamed floor loom and a table loom.
Two styles of warping will be covered:
- Using a warping board (generally under 13 yards)
- Sectional beaming (13 to 65 yards)
Attendees will take home a wound warp ready for their own loom.
Take advantage of 54 years of warping and weaving experience to learn about project planning, plus great tips and repair techniques to make your weaving stress free!
Bring note taking materials to supplement the handouts.
