This 4-session class is designed for the beginning tapestry weaver who wants to practice and gain proficiency in basic skills.
Students will learn how to warp for tapestry, use double half-hitches, irregular and regular hatching, meet and separate, and pick and pick.
Beginning and ending yarn and beginning and ending a tapestry will be covered, and several finishing techniques will be explained.
Instructor will provide looms and tools, which must be returned at the end of class.
Class will be held on four Saturday afternoons – Oct. 21 & 28 and Nov. 4 & 11 – from 1-4 p.m.

Class fee $140. Register online and submit $60 via PayPal to reserve your spot. Bring the remaining $80 (cash and check accepted) to the first class.
Materials to bring:
- Sharp scissors
- Measuring tape or sewing gauge
- Paper and pen/pencil for note taking
Instructor will provide:
- Looms and tools for use in class
- Warp & weft yarns
