Here’s a resolution that will be easy to keep – and we’ll help!

In 2025, resolve to learn one or more new fiber skills and/or new techniques in your chosen textile art form. See? It would be hard NOT to follow through on this one!

We are always happy to take suggestions for classes, and will do our best to find skilled instructors and schedule sessions.

Another great resolution would be to attend as many Guild meetings as possible; check out our calendar or download the printable ‘post card’ that is just the right size to stick on your fridge door as a reminder.

The Kansas Alliance of Weavers and Spinners (KAWS) annual conference is coming soon!

The fun begins on Friday evening with a reception and artist showcase. Classes are offered on Saturday morning and afternoon, vendors will be open all day, and other activities are scattered throughout. This year’s keynote speaker will be Christine Long-Derks of Treasure Goddess Yarrrrrn.

This annual conference is always a great time to meet and visit with fellow fiber artists, to encourage others and return home inspired! Those who are members of affiliated Guilds are automatically KAWS members, but non-members are always welcome to the conference, and are encouraged to register (with a very minimal additional fee).
