Plan now to attend the KAWS 2018 conference in Manhattan! The main conference starts Friday evening, April 20th, and runs through midday on Sunday. A post conference on weaving continues through Monday.

We’re into our third week of classes at the Fiber Arts Center, and things are going well!
Ummm, that is, if you don’t count the heating glitches just before classes started, and the interesting winter weather that followed shortly afterwards. And the arm injury that has put our basket weaving teacher out of commission for a while.
Even so, the anticipation has been rewarded with lots of laughing and learning in spite of the temporary setbacks.
Next assignment – find more instructors and line up more classes! We have some slots to fill in for February and March, and the 2018 second quarter slate will need to be scheduled soon.
