Learn how to dye locks of wool in beautiful hues, using both handpainting and kettle dyeing techniques.

Participants will also learn basic wool and dye chemistry (and why it’s important).  Some wool handling experience is helpful, but not necessary.

Class will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2019 from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm.

Materials to bring:

• Wear old clothes and shoes and/or bring apron!
• Snacks and drink if you like

Instructor will provide:

• 4 oz. of locks per person
• Dyes
• All equipment and supplies

The location for all classes is the Fiber Arts Center of Wichita at 751 George Washington Boulevard.
