Class is full!

This beginner level class will introduce the student to traditional tapestry weaving, working on pre-warped looms.

Participants will learn about various tapestry looms, and then get hands on practice weaving their own small project using meet and separate (the most used technique in tapestry weaving), double half hitch knots, hatching, regular hatching, and beginning and ending yarn.

Class will be held on Saturday, September 9, from 1 – 4 p.m.

Class fee $45.  Register online and submit $15 via PayPal to reserve your spot. Bring the remaining $30 (cash & check accepted) to class.

Materials to bring:

  • Sharp scissors
  • Tape measure or sewing gauge
  • Enthusiasm!

Instructor will provide:

  • Pre-warped tapestry looms and tools for use in class – must be returned to instructor
  • Weft yarns
  • Instructions

The location for all classes is the Fiber Arts Center of Wichita at 751 George Washington Boulevard.
