Learn to hand paint wool yarn using brushes and acid dyes.  It’s more fun than is normally possible on a well-behaved day!

Students will learn some color theory, and then dye and process their yarn to take home a 100 gram skein of superwash merino sock yarn dyed in their own custom-designed colorway!  And remember – sock yarn isn’t just for socks.  Knit or crochet lovely shawls, neckwear or handwear with your one-of-a-kind yarn, or use it in your next weaving project.

No previous dyeing experience is needed.  There will be some waiting during the process, so feel free to bring a project to work on.

This class is offered three times on July 20, 2019, so choose the one that fits your schedule, and register soon – class size is very limited.  Psst – you can sign up for more than one session if you like!
