- Public online notification of fiber-related items for sale is a benefit of Guild membership.
- The Guild will post items for sale online (website, social media, newsletter) ONLY for the Guild itself and for sellers who are current Guild members. Members are responsible for providing at least one photo, description, price and contact information.
- Prospective buyers’ contact information will be forwarded to the seller, and all further contact will be between buyer and seller directly. The Guild takes no responsibility for these transactions.
- When items are sold, the member is responsible for notifying a Guild officer so the information can be taken down. The notification may be taken down after 3 months if not sold, but the selling member may request to have it re-posted.
- The Guild is not obligated to make more than one online post (website, social media, newsletter) for any item, in a timeline that fits in the regular schedule.
- Non-members may provide information on items for sale via mail or email to Guild officers, which will then be relayed to members at a regular meeting and/or put on the notice board in the Guild’s weaving studio. Information should include at least one photo, description, price and contact information; prospective buyers must contact the seller directly. The Guild is not obligated to provide sale information more than once for any item, and any printed notification may be taken down after 3 months.
- Non-members who are members of a Guild social media group may post items for sale in the group, but the Guild takes no responsibility for any such transactions. Prospective buyers must contact the seller directly.
