Use two dye techniques for your next weaving project; hand paint cotton warp yarn and ‘cupcake’ dye coordinating weft!
Participants will receive a 5-yard warp (enough for two long 9- or 10-inch wide scarves) and 4 cakes of weft yarn, plus instructions and all supplies needed, including dyes.
The morning will start with a review of color theory before students begin hand painting their warp, using color combinations to create the visual effects desired. In the afternoon session, students will dye weft using the ‘cupcake’ method.
COVID-19 precautions will be observed, and participants are required to wear masks.
