Beginners and experienced basket weavers alike will enjoy creating their own baskets in this full-day workshop!

This beautiful and versatile tote basket with flexible handles features a ‘chain’ decoration in a contrasting color. It measures 5 1/2 ” wide by 15 1/2 ” long, with sides about 8″ high.

Through the day, participants will learn all the techniques needed, including square/rectangle base layout, basic weaving, twining, tucking, rim shaping and lashing. (We will break for a brown bag lunch onsite.)

Thanks to a generous donor, most of the materials for this project will be provided free of charge! The cost of remaining materials is included in the instructor fee.

This event will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2025, from 9 am – 5 pm.
