By all measures, our first annual summer solstice event was a success – the many attendees helped raise a healthy amount of funding for our non-profit, and a good time was had by all!
We also learned a few things (as expected), and plan for improvements and additions in 2026.

Quick Recap of the by Wichita Weavers, Spinners and Dyers GuildA good time was had by all who were able to participate in the Erickson Valley Farms tour on Saturday, April 12th! It was windy, but much better weather to be outside than the originally scheduled date a week earlier. Anna Erickson’s Gotland and Border Leicester sheep were lovely – and friendly!
The lambs were cuddly, the dogs were happy to have visitors, the alpacas loved their leg showers, and the shopping was good. Anna and her daughter Laura are charming hosts! For those who weren’t able to come, here are a few glimpses of the fun… and for those who were there, the photos will be a happy reminder.
