Beginning Wheel Spinning

Ewe to Yarn Series – Class #3

This multi-week class is especially for beginners, and covers spinning and plying techniques to create yarns for knitting, crochet or weaving.  Wool and llama fiber will be provided.

Bring your own wheel or borrow a class wheel to take home for the duration of the class!

Class will be held on three successive Saturdays, February 9, 16 and 23 from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm, with a lunch break – feel free to bring your lunch and drinks.

This is the third class in a series taking the student from raw fleece to spun yarn.  Sign up for the entire series, or select from the offerings to hone your skills.  Check out the other classes in the series: Wash Fleece & Dye, Fiber Prep Tool Time and Spinning Exploration.

Instructor Pat Doherty learned to spin in Australia, and will guide you creatively and patiently.  We look forward to seeing you learn this great old craft from years gone by.

Class fee $135 includes all three sessions and spinning fiber.  Register online and bring payment to the first class.  Please note in the comments if you need to borrow a wheel.
