The Kansas Alliance of Weavers & Spinners annually sponsors two $100 cash awards for best use of fiber or fiber techniques in the Eastern Kansas Scholastic Art & Writing Awards. Winners this year were selected by Wichita Weavers, Spinners & Dyers Guild members Nancy Squire and Mary Sue Foster.

Congratulations to Korbyn Brown and Kayleigh Perez for their original designs and creations! In addition to the monetary prizes, their Gold Key awarded work is on exhibit at Mark Arts in Wichita from February 18 through March 26, 2022. The award ceremony will be held via Zoom.
