This multi-session class is a great introduction to traditional tapestry weaving using small copper pipe looms.
Instruction will include selecting tapestry yarns, various tapestry weaving methods such as meet and separate, regular and irregular hatching, pick and pick, as well as other techniques. Learn the difference between tapestry weaving and balanced weaving.
No previous weaving experience is required. Students will create a small tapestry similar to the one shown.
This class is appropriate for ages 15 – adult.
This 4-week class will be held on Saturday afternoons, August 7, 14, 21 and 28 from 1:00 – 3:30 pm.
Masks are required to help keep everyone safe!

Class fee $110. Register online and submit $50 to reserve your space. Bring the remaining $60 (cash or check) to the first class.

- Loom
- Warp yarn
- Battens/shed sticks
- Cartoon
- Tapestry needles
- Weft yarn
