Portable and affordable, rigid heddle looms are still big on creativity, allowing weavers to combine different fibers, weights and colors of yarn into lovely projects. Wear your “Lover’s Warm Up” winter scarf as a daily reminder of your new skills and creativity, or gift it to someone special!
This introduction to rigid heddle weaving will cover all the basics of direct warping and weaving.
The class will be held in two sessions; students will take their looms home to complete the weaving, then return the following week to learn how to remove and tie off the finished scarf.
By the end of the second session, participants will have a unique scarf AND the knowledge gained to begin weaving on their own!
Classes will be held on two Wednesdays – February 7 & 14, 2024 from 5:30 – 8:30 pm.
Instructor: Ernie Kind
Class fee $75. Register online and submit $20 via PayPal to reserve your spot. Bring the remaining $55 (cash, check or card) to the first class.
