Portable and affordable, rigid heddle looms are still big on creativity, allowing weavers to combine different fibers, weights and colors of yarn into lovely projects. The loosely woven scarf produced in this class will be made of mixed novelty yarns; state your color preference in the comments field when registering.

This introduction to rigid heddle weaving will cover all the basics of direct warping and weaving. Participants will leave the class with a unique scarf AND the knowledge gained to begin weaving on their own!

This class will be held in two sessions; students will take their looms home to complete the weaving, then return the following week to learn how to remove and tie off the finished scarf.

Masks optional.

Classes will be held on two Wednesdays – October 19 and October 26, 2022 from 5:30 – 8:00 pm.

Instructor: Ernie Kind

Class fee $65.  Register online and submit $20 via PayPal to reserve your spot. BE SURE to include in the Comments section the colorway you prefer – every effort will be made to provide your color selection! Bring the remaining $45 (cash, check or card) to the first class.
